Play off Game 2 vs Woolwich Wildcats
The Stars in their second game of the play offs took on the Woolwich Wildcats in another tight game but came up short losing 3-2.
The Stars opened the scoring in the 1st on a goal by Cam B but the wildcats tied it up with a goal at 1:37 in the 1st. The Stars recaptured the lead in the 2nd on a goal by Alan D assisted by Jaden G but that would be all for the Stars as the Wildcats would tie and take the lead in the 3rd. The Stars didn't give up though, with Seager G on the bench and the extra attacker, the Stars pressed the attack but fell short. I was another great effort by all the Stars.
Our hard hat player of the game Owen J for his solid performance on defence. Our Smartie award was presented to Owen V and Jaxsen L for a wonderful play in front of the Wildcat cat goal. While the play didn't result in a goal they showed a great team effort. Game 2 was a solid effort by the Stars; lets keep that energy flowing.
