Stars Edged by Beverly
In game 2 of the B final the Stars were edged out by the Bandits in a 2-1 finish in front of their home crowd.
Beverly jumping out to a 2 -0 lead in the first shut down the Stars offense until the 3rd period when Andrew R unassisted got the Stars only goal. Even in the final minute of the 3rd with the goalie on the bench, the 6th man wouldn't be enough tonight. The Hard hat player of the game was award to Alan D for his solid efforts along the boards and backing checking. The Smartie award player of the game was shared by 2 players, Hayden F and Jaden G for their excellent efforts on their wings. It was a close game and each of the players should be proud of their individual and team efforts put forward. Time to turn our attention to Monday night in Beverly boys. You get 1 more chance to lay it all on the line. Alex, Logan, Jaden, Hayden, Michael, Ethan, Andrew, Sam, Jaxsen, Alan, Mathais and Seager lets get focused and take to the Bandits Monday night.
