Flat in Beverly
In game 2 of the round robin meeting with the Beverly Bandits 2, the Stars LL#1 team came out flat and chased the Bandits for 35 minutes surrendering to a 4-0 loss.
Was it the high of yesterdays meeting, its hard to say. Highlights from the game, Logan G played an exceptional defensive role battling hard in the corners and moving the puck out of the defensive end to capture the smartie award. The Hard hat was awarded to Hayden F who proved to be a force moving up and down the right wing, putting pucks to the net and getting excellent opportunities. A big shout out to Jaden G who took a lot of punishment from a Beverly body check and was knocked out of the game. Looking forward to having you back in practice Thursday night, make sure to rest up; you put forward a great effort. Its time for the LL#1 Stars to re-group and get ready for the 3 game final with the Bandits. See you all Thursday night.
