Stars win BCH Tournament!!!!!
It was an exciting 4 games of hockey for us in the BCH tournament held in Hensall. We would like to thank BCH for allowing us to play and congratulate them on a well run event.
We knew we were going to have stiff competition in our division.
North Middlesex, Listowel and Mount Forest were all good teams but our boys found a way to be victorious in all the games. The championship game put us against another great hockey program... Ilderton. This face paced game was a real treat to watch. Once again our Stars came away with a game/tournament win. It's a very proud moment when every member on your team works their hardest and contributes in the teams success. WAY TO GO STARS!!!!!!!!!
A real showing of sportsmanship happened after the game that needs mentioning. One of our players was having trouble getting all his equipment picked up after the awards because of the banner he was holding. 2 Ilderton players came over and helped him pick his equipment up. I would like to thank Ilderton for a great game and the demonstration of sportsmanship.
