Bob Tansley Memorial Tournament Recap
The Twin Centre Jr. Jacks participating in the Bob Tansley Memorial Tournament this past weekend in Tillsonburg.
The Jr. Jacks got out to a good start with a 2-1 win vs Mt. Brydges Cougars. They continued their hot streak with a second win vs Mid-Huron Huskies 3-2. A game 3 loss finished up the round robin schedule with a 2-1 record and the Jr Jacks punched their ticket into the Semi-Finals.
In the Semi-Finals they ran into one of our league rivals in St. George Generals. This ended with a 6-2 loss and the end of the tournament journey. St. George would later go on to win the tournament against the Dorchester Dragons 6-2.
A good first tournament of the season for the Jr. Jacks and positive results from this hard working team.
The Jr. Jacks resume their regular season league at home vs the Norwich Nighthawks on Tuesday night @ 8:30pm.
