Last two home games for November
The Jr Jacks hosted St George and Tillsonburg to close out the last two games of November at home.
The St George Generals visited Wellesley on Tuesday Nov 22 for an 8:30pm game. This was a hard working back-and-forth match-up. Trailing 3-1 shortly into the 2nd period, the Jr Jacks finished the period with 2 straight goals to even things up at 3-3 heading into the 3rd period. A stalemate through half of the 3rd when St George would capitalize going up 4-3. That lead would be short lived as the Jr Jacks tied things up 15 seconds later and the game would end in a 4-4 tie. Goals coming from C. Pitsch, J. Neeb, C. Butler and L. Walsh. Assisting N. Gedcke (2), J. Eggert, A. Shantz, M. Brickman, C. Pitsch, J. Neeb.
Next up was an 8:30 game against the Tillsonburg Tornadoes on Nov 29. Starting things off in the 1st period were goals from C. Butler and B. Mayer. Taking a 2-0 lead into the 2nd period, the Jr Jacks would add another 4 goals from E. Mitani, N. Gedcke, H. Bender, P. Cook. A late 2nd period goal from Tillsonburg would send it 6-1 going into the 3rd period. J. Neeb added 1 goal in the 3rd period for a final score 7-1 and the beginning of another 2 game WIN streak. Assisting in the game were: M. Brickman (2), L. Walsh (2), R. Edwards (1), J. Neeb (1).
The Jr Jacks are back in action on Monday Dec 5th in Burford, game time 9:15pm.
