We are in the win column
November 9, 2017. The 1st snowfall of the season also the Stars 1st win of the season! The boys were full of energy when they hit the ice and didn't stop until the final buzzer. The coaches were delighted to see the things we did in practice pay off in a game.
Some excellent saves by Seager early in the game help set the stage for his 1st shutout of the year. Owen V opened the scoring 1/2 way thru the 1st period on a picture perfect pass from Spencer. Spencer followed with an excellent scoring opportunity his next shift! Sam also had a terrific shot on net on a pass from the corner. Alex, Simon, Alen, Parker...the whole team passed the puck great tonight looking for an open teammate. Brody, Noah, Logan and Owen J had a solid game on point shutting down Woolwich's offence. Owen J even jumped into offence mode and scored an insurance goal. Keep up the good work Stars in our upcoming West Grey Tournament!
