Playoffs - 4 goals in 51 seconds
We started playoffs (B division) against Embro Red 2 on January 26. It was an evenly matched game for the first 2 periods. The Stars had 4 goals in less than a minute - 3:55 Owen V from Sam, 3:46 Alen from Owen V, 3:14 Caden from Parker, 3:04 Alex from Noah. Great start to the playoffs! We headed north Groundhog day playing in the Bradford Blue Gold tournament. The boys played 3 great games. The boys and parents all had a great weekend (especially learning the difference between a Hotel law and a Hotel rule!
Playoff game 2 - Woolwich #2. 2-1 loss. Woolwich scored with .3 of a second left to take the tie away from us.
Playoff game 3 - Hespeler #2. 2-1 loss. Hespeler took the lead with 3:40 left of the 3rd. The Stars kept the puck in the offensive zone the rest of the game. We even pulled the goalie for the extra attacker but just couldn't score. Keep up the hard work and the goals will come.
