Stars vs Wolf Pack 2 Game 2
After a 7 day layoff the Stars took to the ice against the Paris Wolf Pack LL2. The time off was clearly evident as the Stars surrender the opening goal in the 1st minute of play.
It was what I would describe as the " What just happened play of the game." It took a little time to shake the cobwebs off and get their legs moving. Sterling G tied the game in the second, followed by a goal by Andrew R and the Stars held their first l and only lead. The wolf Pack tied the game back up by the end of the 2nd and took the lead early in the 3rd. Even with the goalie out the Stars just couldn't make up the difference, going down 4-2. Our Smartie award player of the game Andrew R, demonstrated a great shoot in with lots of hustle to recover his puck creating opportunity in front of the Wolf Pack goalie. Our Hard hat player of the game was awarded to Seager G for another great effort in net. Shout outs to the rest of the team, Ethan E, Seth B, Jaxsen L and Jaden G great work on d. Forwards Gabe B, Alan D, Sterling G, Kyle W, Cole M, Andrew R, Noah B and Ryerson S, you boys really demonstrated some tenacity we just need to keep it going for 35 minutes. Let's shake this one off Stars as we will get another shot at this team in our home rink. See you at practice Saturday.
