Stars vs Generals Game 8
The Stars in a must win game to keep their play off hopes alive fell short losing to the Generals 4-3.
The game had lots of excitement at both ends of the ice but it was some terrific goal tending by the Generals that stayed the Stars from tying and getting a shot at winning the game. Our hard Hat player of the game Ethan E with a great effort digging in the corners and hustling on the back checks. The Smartie award player of the game Andrew R who provide a beautiful pass to Ethan E to open the Stars scoring. Andrew R contribute the Stars 2nd goal on an assist by Alan D and Sterling G collected the Stars 3rd goal on assists from Ryerson S and Ethan E. The Stars had the Generals on their toes in the last few minutes of the game; with Seager G on the bench and the Generals serving a penalty the Stars peppered the Generals goalie with shots. It was just not ment to be. Its time to focus on our last tournament of the season. March 16th is the date and Plattsville is the place.
