The Atom Reps are off to the OMHA semifinals!

The playoff drive is still alive for the Atom Reps after a sweep of Blenheim in OMHA Playdowns and another Southern Counties playoff win against Hagersville. 
The Atom Reps entered the quarter finals against Blenheim with a string of excellent efforts and they kept that momentum going in the first game to secure a 7-4 victory. Goals were scored by Zach (x3), Michael (x2), Eric and Noah. Sam (x2), Easton (x2), Eric, Michael and Tyler registered assists. Jonathan was strong in goal making some key saves in the win.
Game 2 saw the Stars travel to Blenheim for a saturday afternoon match. The team kept their effort rolling and came out with a 5-2 victory. The team continued their balanced attack that saw five different players find the back of the net. Eric, Connor, Kyle, Zach and Michael scored with Tyler (x2), Connor, Noah, Michael, Kyle and Sam picking up assists. Colsyn provided steady goaltending in the victory to help the Stars to a 2-0 series lead.
After the 2 OMHA games, the Stars switched to the Southern Counties playoffs in Hagersville. The Stars put in another excellent team game and skated away with a 5-0 win. Goals went to Michael (x3), Kyle and Connor. Alex, Kyle, Sam, Noah and Michael had assists. Jonathan made several key saves to register the shutout.
Game 3 in the OMHA series saw the Stars hosting Blenheim in Wellesley. The Stars were looking to prevent Blenheim from getting any momentum and close out the series. The team came out flying and didn't stop until the final buzzer. That sustained pressure resulted in a 4-0 victory for the Stars and a series win. Eric (x3) and Easton scored with Sam (x2), Michael (x2) and Noah getting helpers. Colsyn turned away all Blenheim shots to earn the shutout.
The semi finals will see the Stars up against a strong Mitchell Meteors squad that swept their series as well. The team will have to continue it's recent strong play if they hope to move on to the OMHA finals. Spread the word and fill the arena to cheer on the Atom Reps as they try to advance to the finals!
