Here's a quarterfinal, call someone who cares.
Then tell them to come out and cheer on the Atom Rep team!

The Atom Reps continued their quest for an OMHA championship with a series against Dunnville while still playing the Southern Counties round robin playoffs. The simultaneous playoffs and unpredictable weather combined for a busy schedule with games being dropped or added at the last minute. The team overcame these challenges and put forward a six game string of solid effort to eliminate Dunnville 3-1 and split their league games by losing to Ingersoll and beating Six Nations.
The OMHA series started in Dunnville and saw the Stars carry the play however, despite a large advantage in shots on goal; the Stars had a hard time finding the back of the net. The team ground out a 2-1 victory with the help of some timely saves from Jonathan. Michael and Noah scored with Zach, Easton, Eric and Michael getting assists.
The team then switched over to Southern Counties and travelled to Ingersoll for a league playoff game. This game was a back and forth affair that, again, saw the Stars fail to capitalize on a number of excellent scoring chances in a 2-0 loss. Colsyn was strong in goal with only a goal mouth scramble and a deflection beating him. The Stars had a very good effort and could easily have been on the other side of the score.
Game 2 in Wellesley was a carbon copy of the first game as the Stars peppered the Dunnville net registering 30 shots while holding Dunnville under 10. For the third game in a row getting scoring chances was not an issue but burying them was. The Stars did put 3 in the Dunnville goal which, thanks to Jonathan's effort in goal, was enough to eke out the 3-1 win. Goals were scored by Eric, Kyle and Zach with Alex, Connor and Easton registering assists.
The Stars then found themselves back in Dunnville trying to close out the series in 3 straight games. The team came out of the gate on fire, jumping to a 2-0 lead within the first 5 minutes. Dunnville responded with two goals to head in to the third period tied. The Stars grabbed the lead with 10 minutes left but suddenly abandoned their forecheck which allowed Dunnville to skate the puck at will and eventually pull out a 4-3 win. Noah (x2) and Michael scored with Michael (x2), Alex, Connor and Noah getting helpers. Colsyn made a number of excellent saves but was left on his own a number of times as his teammates watched the Dunnville players skate.
OMHA game 4 saw the Stars looking to halt Dunnville's momentum from game 3 and finish the series on home ice. The Stars team from the first two games showed up to play and dominated both shots and territorial play over the first two periods. Despite the wide discrepancy in play, the Stars found themselves down 2-0 after two periods. The third period saw a determined Stars team stick to the plan and continue to play their game, forechecking hard and moving the puck. The determination showed by the team paid quick dividends as they scored on the first shift of the third and poured in 4 more to secure a 5-2 win and finally eliminate Dunnville. The strong team play resulted in five different players scoring goals for the Stars and eight players registering a point. Goals went to Zach, Easton, Michael, Tyler and Sam with Eric (x2), Ben (x2), Michael, Sam, Evie and Zach getting assists. Jonathan picked up the win with another strong effort in goal.
The next game saw the Stars travelling to Six Nations for a Southern Counties round robin game. The Stars continued their strong team play and kept their scoring touch going by putting up another five goal effort in the 5-1 victory. Goals went to Eric (x3), Connor and Noah with Sam (x2), Ben (x2), Tyler (x2), Easton, Kyle and Michael picking up assists. Colsyn made saves when tested and secured the win.
Looking ahead, the Stars continue with league round robin while balancing the OMHA quarterfinals against Blenheim. Spread the word and pack the arena to cheer on the team as they try to continue on in the OMHA play downs!
