Novice Rep Wins OMHA Quarter Finals 3-0
The Stars were slotted to play Waterford in the quarter final round of OMHA play-offs.

Game #1

The Stars lost the coin flip and had to play game #1 in Waterford.  Right from the first shift the Stars came out flying!  The forwards were all putting pressure on Waterford in there end.  When the puck did some out, the defense made it tought for any shots to get through.  The Stars wracked up an amazing 4 goals in the first period, added three more in the second, and two in the 3rd to win the game 9-0.  Toby Byrd recorded a shutout for the game.  Smartie award went to Kaeden Burger and Hard Working Helmet to Nate Gawthorne.

Game #2

Game #2 was back in Wellesley and the Wildcats came to play with a vengeance.  Despite the Stars coming out in the first period with their feet moving, the Wildcats were putting up a fight.  Finally with 4:55 left to go in the first period Burger took a pass from Forwell and buried one in the net.  Forewell added another unassisted goal 30 seconds later to make it 2-0 after the first.  The Stars defense and Byrd between the pipes played tough.  The score remained 2-0 until 40 seconds into the third period when Waterford scored to make the game 2-1.  The score remained close until 5 minutes left in the third when Forwell went on a goal scoring tear and added 3 more in the last 5 minutes of the third.  Final score was 5-1 for the Stars.
