Congratulations to both our U11 LL teams on their League Championship Wins!
After an 11-0-1 regular season record, finishing tied for 1st place, the U11 LL1 team would move to the playoffs in the A division. Finishing atop the playoff standings, U11 LL1 would faceoff in the A division finals against the Beverly Bandits 2. Taking game 1 at home with a score of 7-2, the Stars would continue their momentum capturing the Championship with a 7-3 win in game 2.
The U11 LL2 team finished the regular season with a 5-7-0 record and earning a spot in the C division playoff bracket. Ending the playoff round with the most wins (5) and most points (12) out of the four teams competing in this division, the Stars would meet up with the Hespeler Shamrocks for the final series. Falling behind in game 1 of the series 3-2, the Stars would not go away easily, heading to Hespeler and putting in a commanding 5-1 win on the board to even the series, sending it back to Twin Centre for the final and deciding game 3. A solid effort by both teams throughout the final game, with the final buzzer ringing, Twin Centre would come out with the win and C division Champions!
