REP evaluations/tryouts:
Players wishing to attend REP evaluations in September for one of our REP teams are able to register for tryouts through the registration link on the TCMHA website. Both Hometown players and out-of-town players who have registered and paid for Twin Centre evaluations/tryouts in September will still have a spot in our Local League program even if they are not selected through REP evaluations for the team they have tried out for. Affiliation from Local League to REP will continue to be an option for players in Twin Centre. Team specific fees and details will be provided by the coaching staff during the evaluation period.
Local League:
Players who wish to participate on our Twin Centre Stars Local League teams can also register through the same link, selecting Local League to complete their registration. Twin Centre is not limiting any Local League teams to TCMHA hometown players only. Any player wishing to participate with Twin Centre will have equal opportunity for a team placement upon registration by June 15th.
Select divisions/teams (NEW for 2025-2026):
Twin Centre has made the decision to add Select teams for the 2025-2026 season, provided there is sufficient interest and adequate number of players in each division. Select teams will be rostered through evaluations during Local League ice times in September. Select teams will compete against other Select teams in the surrounding area and have the opportunity to participate in Select tournaments throughout the season. Select players will be rostered and play on both their Local League team as well as the Select team they were selected for. Additional team fees will apply for Select players to cover ice time, game fees, tournaments, etc.
First Stars:
Our First Stars program registration will open in June. Stay tuned to the TCMHA website for further details on this program.
Player Skills / Goalie Training:
Details on Twin Centre Player Skills & Goalie Training programs will be communicated prior to September as these programs are finalized. In past seasons, Twin Centre has provided free Goalie Training for all goalies and has offered optional paid Player Skills programs for those looking for additional skills training. This is expected to continue for the upcoming season with dates/times being determined for these training sessions closer to the season start.
Late fees:
A Late fee will apply for any player not registered by June 15th through Local League registration or REP tryout registration, excluding First Stars registrations. For players participating in REP tryouts/evaluations, upon payment of the tryout fee, they will be eligible to complete their registration in September after being selected during REP evaluations or if released to register for Local League without a late fee assessed to their registration balance.
