2023 Richard Vollmer Memorial LL Tournament Kicks Off Friday
The 2023 Richard Vollmer Memorial LL Tournament kicks off tomorrow, with games scheduled for the new Bill Gies Recreation Centre and St. Clements Arena.
With 20 teams competing across three divisions, action is sure to be competitive as teams vie for this years championships.
Games begin at 3:00pm at both St. Clements Arena and the Bill Gies Recreation Centre with Twin Centre teams seeing action on day 1. U11 LL 1 take on the West London Hawks at 5:20pm at Wellesley while U11 LL 2 face the Waterford Wildcats at St. Clements, also at 5:20pm. U13 kick off the tournament at 3pm at the Bill Gies Rec Centre facing Central Perth, while U15 play Hespeler in St. Clements, also at 3pm.
A reminder that the Wellesley Christmas Parade leaves from the new Rec Centre parking lot at 645. Those travelling to/from the arena for tournament action are advised to keep this in mind as the area will be congested.
