Holiday Wishes from TCMHA!
Submitted By David Dienesch on Thursday, December 24, 2020
As 2020 comes to a close, your TCMHA Executive wishes to take a moment to thank all of our Twin Centre players, parents/guardians, coaches, trainers, team officials and volunteers for their continued support during this different season of hockey.

While this year has brought on many challenges and changes to how we participate, working through them together has been an opportunity for us to continue providing hockey programming to our Twin Centre community.  On a personal note, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of the members of your TCMHA Executive for their countless meetings, many, many hours of Zoom calls, contributions to sub-committee tasks and their continued work on behalf of Twin Centre in order for this year to have come together and continue through the first half of the season.

As you know, the Province of Ontario will be going into a minimum 28-day lockdown starting December 26th and the Wellesley arena will be closed until January 23rd, 2021.  Your TCMHA board has decided that we will pause our programming during the current lockdown and should the lockdown be extended past January 23rd, we will evaluate options at that time.  If the lockdown is not extended we will continue with the season based on the zone we are in at that time.

Providing the opportunity for our players to participate in sport within a safe environment has been our primary focus and together we have done just that.  We hope the holidays give you the opportunity to take a pause from hockey and safely spend time with family.  2021 will be a year with new challenges but also great opportunities.

Wishing you all the best this Holiday Season and a wonderful New Year!

Happy Holidays,

Your Twin Centre Minor Hockey Association Executive
