New Arena Protocols - updated today: November 27th 2020
Dear Twin Centre families,
The Province and Region of Waterloo has provided updated guidance today in the Red (control) category which affects facility protocols in the Township of Wellesley.

Please see the new protocols set forth by the Province of Ontario effective immediately.

RELEASE_XX_-_20_--_RedControl_Recreation_UPDATE_-_DRAFT.pdf

  • 10 people capacity does not include coaches, trainers as long as they can keep physically distanced
  • One (1) parent/guardian allowed with children under the age 18

So what this means for minor sports, is you can now have 10 participants on the ice.  Coaches and trainers are no longer counted in that 10 person capacity.  Each minor aged participant may now be accompanied by a parent/guardian.   The parent/guardian may stay in the facility while their child participates.  In the Wellesley Arena, the parent may stay in the lobby or in the stands.  But only one (1) parent/guardian per participant is allowed.

We will update the TCMHA website with the Township of Wellesley arena protocols as soon as they are made available.
