Rebranding of Midget Rep
Submitted By Barb Esbaugh on Monday, November 4, 2019
Twin Centre Minor Hockey is pleased to announce the upcoming rebranding of our Midget Rep program.

As a way of supporting our local Junior C hockey program as well as encouraging players to stay within the Twin Centre system, the Midget Rep program, (this season and beyond) will be known as the Twin Centre Jr. Jacks.

The Twin Centre Executive has been excited to work on this initiative throughout the past summer in partner with parents who were eager to help out with this idea and do some fundraising. We believe this new initiative is a great step forward in raising the profile of our Midget program throughout our centre and others, while being able encourage players to maintain their hockey passion and drive throughout their “rep career” with the hopes of one day becoming a Jr. Jack. We also believe this is a fantastic way to support and honour the local Junior C hockey we have in our township.

Twin Centre Executive would like to thank the Wellesley Apple Jacks Junior C hockey club for their support in with moving forward with this initiative and to the families involved with seeing this get off the ground.

While there had been a delay in jersey’s being completed, we are happy to announce that the (formally) Twin Centre Stars Midget reps will officially be debuting and hitting the ice as the Twin Centre Jr. Jacks on Tuesday November 5, 2019 at 8:30pm versus the Paris Wolf Pack. We invite you to join the team at arena for this exciting debut and beginning of a legacy in Twin Centre Minor Hockey.
