What a great way to end our regular season. The boys came out and worked hard every shift, through every period, which resulted in a 4-0 win. It was an overall team win, with the intensity of the game seeming to bring the boys together stronger and play hard. They fully embodied our motto for the season "Work Hard, Play Hard".

Our first game of the 2017 year started off on a tough note, but again our boys showed great perseverance coming back to tie a game in the 3rd period. This was one game where it felt like we were battling more than just a tough Plattsville team, our boys were able to get their game back to the way we normally play and battle back to tie the game. Even though the end result was a 3-2 loss, it was good to get back on the ice in front of our home crowd. While the result of our Ridgetown tournament was not what everyone hoped for, the time spent doing some team bonding was awesome to have.....and the tournament ended with one of the most exciting games of our season so far.

Twas the last game before Christmas, and all through the dressing room, the players were all ready, the game could not start too soon.

What a great game from start to finish for the whole team! Even after having a long stretch of no hockey, the boys brought their top game and stuck to the things we have been working on at practice. Great work by our forwards who kept on the puck and kept the pressure on throughout the game. Just as great work by our defense holding their ground as we always ask but also made great decisions pinching in on the offense zone to sustain that pressure. And lastly, great goaltending was put on display too. All this combined had our coaches feeling this was one of our best games played ...
