STARS WIN!!!!!!
Starting against the Schomberg 2 team we had a tough game ahead. We never did get our legs under us but we battled and passed well. They jumped out to a quick lead but the Stars worked hard and Christian tied it up. The Stars continued to win battles and work hard and pulled ahead on a goal by Thomas. Christian added another to lead us to victory (3-1) and Christian to the SUPERSTAR helmet. Assists to Thomas and Nolan.
Game 2 was against Schomberg 1 team. We jumped out to an early lead on a goal by Cory. Our skating game was starting to come and our passing was improving. The Stars were continuing to win the hard corner battles. Schomberg tied the game and it was tense for the last period but the Stars pulled ahead with a goal by Thomas. The Stars were able to hold on for a hard fought victory (2-1). SUPERSTAR of the game was Cory. Assist to Christian.
Game 3 - THE FINALS!! VS Hanover 2
The Stars came out skating, the legs finally arrived. Keeping with the improving theme, the Stars continued to get better. The final game was our best by far. We were skating and passing and played a complete team game which proved to be no match for the team from Hanover leading us to a 7-1 victory. Goals by Christian, Nolan (2), Thomas, Blake (2) and Carson. Assists to Cory, Thomas (2), Christian (2), Nolan, Barett (2) and Noah (2). SUPERSTAR helmet goes to Noah.
