Atom Rep start the season strong
The Atom Rep team kicked off their season by winning both of their games this week.
In the first game against Delhi, the team came out working hard and carried the play. Some big saves by the Delhi goalie kept the score close as Twin Centre pulled out a 3-2 win. Eric scored twice while Michael added another. Noah, Tyler, Sam, Evie and Connor added assists while Jonathon made some key saves late to preserve the victory.
In a 7-3 win over Tavistock on thursday, the team came out with another strong effort. Colsyn held the fort in goal until the team scored 3 late goals to seal the win. Zac (x2), Eric (x2), Sam (x2) and Easton scored goals with assists going to Michael, Evie, Ben, Alex, Connor, Tyler, Zac and Eric (x2). Every player made the little plays that don't show up on the game sheet but are crucial to pull out a win.
Maintaining this level of effort will be crucial for the team to continue it's winning streak heading in to the Lucan tournament next weekend. Good work team!
