The Township of Wellesley Family Outreach would like to reach out and help a family in need.  We recently received an email from Susan, a Family Outreach Worker, asking if any families are in need of assistance towards a hockey registration or equipment, in order for their child to be able to play and enjoy this amazing sport.  Please contact Susan for more information at [email protected] or 519-656-9025 x227.

One of the most important roles you can have as a parent with a child playing in any sport is to become involved in the sport in some way.  To show them you care about your child’s success and enjoy being involved in the one thing they love to do!  Coaching, or being a part of the coaching staff is one way to do that.  But not all of us have the “coaching” bug in us.  I personally am not “coach” material.     Read More
