U7 Games are Under Way!
Our Twin Centre U7 Stars played their first game of the season against the Woolwich Wildcats on Saturday morning at the Woolwich Memorial Arena in Elmira.
For many of our players, the COVID-19 shutdown going back to March 2020 meant that this was their first taste of real U7 'game action'. We split into two teams and ran two concurrent, modified ice games to ensure that all players got as much ice time as possible. Each player enjoyed themselves and were happy to have worn, "real Stars jerseys." A big thank you to Benson Albrecht and Cameron Erb for being our goalies -- there were some real big saves!
We are thankful to our hosts, the Woolwich Wildcats, for inviting us to play at their Saturday morning ice time. Please note that our U7 calendar is being updated daily and there are now games scheduled through to February 23rd. Our next game is this coming Saturday as we host New Hamburg at St. Clements at 9:00am. Other games that have been confirmed and scheduled currently include:
