Regular season comes to an end
The Stars played our last four games of the regular season over the past two weeks.

On January 4th we played the Woolwich Wildcats 1 in an evening match in St Clements.  The Stars trailed Woolwich in the game ending in a 5-1 loss.

That weekend on Saturday January 6th, we traveled to New Hamburg to face the New Hamburg Huskies 3.  We played a high pace game against the #4 ranked team in the league.  This was the same team we played in our Twin Centre tournament in December and it was a similar style of game with high intensity on both sides.  We came up one goal short in a final score of 3-4.

The next day on Sunday January 7th, we again traveled but this time to play in Elmira against the same team we played in our Rangers Hockey Day event.  The Woolwich Wildcats 3 surprised us with an early lead in the game but our Stars battled back to within 1 goal with a few minutes left in the game.  We didn't have enough time to complete the comeback and the game ended in a 4-3 loss.

Our last game of the regular season was on Saturday January 13th against the Ayr Flames 3.  We generated more shots on goal against the Ayr Flames team, but we couldn't find the back of the net in that game.  Final score 3-0 for Ayr.

With the regular season completed, we look forward to continuing to compete each game in the playoffs.
