Stars Vs Shamrocks Play off Game 3
Game 3 vs the Hespler Shamrocks proved to be another tight and exciting game for the LL2 Pee Wee Stars.
The chances came at both ends of the ice and the goalies were stellar stopping just about everything that came their way. Even when faced with killing a 5 on 3 in the first period the Stars put fourth a tremendous effort keeping the Shamrocks at bay. Their efforts would payoff and opened the scoring in the second on a goal by Cam B assisted by Michael B at 3:37. The Shamrocks though pushed back to tie the game in the 3rd period at 1's and from that point on it was the goalies who shut it down.
Our hard hat player of the game Michael B for his great 2 way play. Our smartie award was presented to Alan D for a beautiful pass to send Jaxsen L away on a break away in the 3rd. Shout outs to Seager G for his performance in the net shutting down the Shamrocks when it counted the most. Alen V for his fancy walk in off the point for a shot on net giving the Stars rebound opportunities. Alex G for his work along the boards keeping the puck in the Shamrock zone allowing Cam B the opportunity to get the Stars goal. Each of the boys put in and exceptional effort, Hayden F, Jaden G Owen J, Alen V, Scott D, Cam B, Michael B, Alex G, Owen V, Jaxsen L and Alan D, lets keep this going and get ready for Tavistock next Saturday.
