Stars Edge Embro Game #6
The Stars certainly came out to play Monday night in the second meeting between these two teams.
The first game had ended in a tie and a close match up was expected. With only a few points left to be won in this years play downs our boys certainly stepped it up. Sterling G opened the scoring for the Stars on assists from Ryerson S and Jaden G. Ethan E followed by adding the Stars second goal assisted by Sterling G and Ryerson S. Ryerson S then added the 3rd goal assisted by Seth B and Jaxsen L. Andrew R added the 4th assisted by Stering G and Ethan E and it was Kyle W that provided the 5th and game winning goal assisted by Andrew R and giving the Stars a 5-4 victory. This was a very tight game all the way to the end but the Stars did not collapse when the Edge mounted their come back drive. In the end it was great team play and tenacity which rewarded the Stars. Our Hard hat player of the game Cole M for some excellent play on the wing, our Smartie award player of the game Sterling G with an excellent assist to Ethan E. This was a game in which each of the Stars gave their all. I can't say enough about your individual efforts. A Great game boys, lets keep bringing the energy and team play! We now face the Wolf Pack.
