The Atom Rep Twin Centre Stars came so close to getting their first win of the season. They lost a hard fought battle against Norwich 3-2.
The Atom rep Stars have been working hard all season to increase their compete level and the results are starting show. The team has had a strong focus on winning the small battles, working to keep shots against less than 10 and trying to get at least 5 shots for each period. As a team we have been focusing on meeting these goals one period at a time and as the season has progressed this team is tieing/winning more and more of the periods they play.
The team is still searching for their first overall win of the season but the boys have continued to show a steady improvement. In a recent game against the the top placed Paris, the Stars held that team to only 6 goals including only allowing 4 shots against and no goals in the second period. Their last game against Norwich was their best yet with a couple of rattled posts being the difference on the scoreboard.
The Stars have shown they are headed down the right path! Keep up the great work boys...it's only a matter of time before we get that first win!!
The Stars are headed off to Port Dover the weekend of Nov 20 for their next tournament. Go Stars Go!
