Stars Finish Strong !
In their last game of local league play LL#1 Stars put an exclamation point on the regular season, taking down the Hespler Shamrocks LL#2 team with a 7-0 victory.
Michael B started the run by pocketing Andrew R's rebound for the first goal of the game. Not to be out done Andrew R put in 2 unassisted goals for the 2nd, 3rd, and a 4th goal with an assist from Alex L. Alan D added the 5th assisted by Andrew R. The 6th goal was netted by Andrew R assisted by Michael B and the 7th came from Michael B assisted by Jaxsen L and Mathais C. The stars used the extra wide Hespler ice surface to their advantage by maximizing their speed and passing abilities. Ethan E walked away with the Smartie award for his great back checking effort, lifting the stick of a Hespler player and preventing a great scoring opportunity. Michael B was awarded the Hard Hat Player of the game for his great effort up front and on the blue line. Shout outs go to Seager G for his 5th shut out of the season, Jaden G and Hayden F, for their excellent work around the front of the net and their solid play along the boards. A great way to close out the regular season Stars. Lets keep focused and take this effort into the next round.
