Peewee Reps
On Sunday November 3rd and Tuesday November 12th, the Twin Centre Peewee Reps recorded back to back Ties.

In consecutive games, the Peewee Reps gave up late goals and had to settle for ties.

On November 3rd, vs Tillsonburg, the Stars came out "guns a blazing" and pulled ahead 5-1 midway through the second period.  Brock Krulicki started things off with a tap in goal assisted by Daniel Rudy.  Daniel Rudy than scored a pair of goals of which one of them being on a penalty shot for being tripped on a breakaway.  Blair Bender picked up the assist on the other.  Tyler Munro scored a nice goal on a 2 on 1 with a great feed from Tyler Zyta.  Daniel Rudy than scored his third of the game.  After some questionable calls and non calls, the Stars started a parade to the penalty box receiving 6 penalties to Tillsonburgs 0 by the end of the second period.  The momentum started to shift heavily in Tillsonburg's favor and the score was 5-4 after the end of the second.   Early in the third, Daniel Rudy continued to fill the net and scored his 4th goal of the game to extend the lead to 6-4 for the Stars.  With 3 minutes left, Tillsonburg scored to make it 6-5.   Tillsonburg then pulled the goalie and got the tieing goal with 8 seconds left and the game ended 6-6.

Despite not winning the game that appeared was ours, we broke our scorelss drought of 2 games with 6 goals.  Blair Gowing played his first game of the season in net coming back from injury playing the first 2 periods and he looked very confident and played great.   Daniel Rudy and Blair Gowing picked up Player of the game honors.

On November 12,  the game in Simcoe had a similar theme.  The game was scorless going into the third.  Aidan Krueger opened the scoring assisted by Cameron HoySimcoe answered back on a questionable call and tied it up a few minutes later.  A few minutes later on the power play, Aiden Krueger received a beauty pass from Tyler Munro to take the lead 2-1 at the 3:30 mark.  With 1:44 remaining, Simcoe tied it up 2-2 and that is how it ended.

Brett Springer played great in net making key saves.  Aidan Krueger was given player of the game honors.  Lots of positive things seen and a few things to continue work on.  The importance of playing with a lead and protecting it is becoming more and more revealing to the team.

Next up, St. George at Home this Thursday Novemebr 14th 8:25pm in Wellesley.
