Meatloaf was right…..
two out of three ain't bad. Especially when the third is a tie.
The Atom Reps finished a three games in four days stretch with two wins and one tie.
On Thursday the team showed great heart in battling back from two different two goal deficits against Glanbrook to finish with a 4-4 tie. Noah (x2), Kyle & Michael scored the goals while Eric, Easton, Zac, Evie and Sam had assists. Jonathan shut the door to give the team time to mount the comeback and get the tie.
On Saturday the team showed up in Paris ready for action and carried the play for the bulk of the game en route to a 7-2 victory. The team made strong passes and drove the net repeatedly to put pressure on Paris and secure the win. Goals were scored by Eric (x3), Tyler (x2), Michael and Noah. Assists went to Noah (x3), Michael (x2), Sam, Connor, Easton and Eric. Colsyn came up big when called upon to make saves in the goal.
The team finished off the weekend with another excellent effort against Ayr on Sunday afternoon. The defence moved the puck up quickly to the forwards to begin wave after wave of rushes into the Ayr zone. The team was buzzing around the goal all game and their hard work and smart passing led to a 7-2 victory. Noah (x3), Tyler (x2), Zac and Michael lit the lamp while Eric (x2), Michael, Connor, Kyle, Alex and Easton picked up assists. Jonathan made a number of key saves in the win.
The team will look to extend it's unbeaten streak to four games this Thursday in Wellesley against St. George.
